Step 1: Weigh approximately 200 grams of wheat berry seeds for each planting tray
Step 3: Cover the seeds with a wet towel for 24 hours. Rinse the seeds twice with water over this period. This will help the seeds to sprout.
Step 5: Water the tray daily. You should now start on the next batch of wheat grass to ensure that you have a continuous supply of fresh wheat grass.
Step 7: Rinse the grass thoroughly and prepare to juice.
Step 9: Consume the extracted wheat grass juice immediately. Nutrients in the wheat grass will begin to oxidize within 15 minutes of juicing.
Step 2: Soak the seeds overnight but never more than 12 hours.
Step 4: Spread the seeds over organic soil in the tray. Seeds should be touching but not over each other. Water generously and cover the trays for two days to help it sprout.
Step 6: The wheat grass will be ready for harvesting after 7 to 9 days of planting. Cut the grass ½ inch above the soil surface with a pair of clean scissors.
Step 8: A low speed juicer is recommended. Alternatively, the juice can be extracted manually using a stone grinder.
